Located on Burton Road The Bistro is the shining

star of the thriving West Didsbury food scene.

Now in our 10th year we continue to cook a fresh interesting range of dishes from around Europe, but not overlooking some classic British dishes as well.

The Bistro has a rustic feel its not fine dining, its a neighbourhood eating place and we donot follow current trends, or try to become a carbon copy of other restaurants around the city.

OUR NEW SEASON MENUS ARRIVE FRIDAY 11th MAY ..... we re visit our starters with a new Lyonnaise salade - the French classic ! A new arrival is piri piri baked prawns with crusty bread to mop up that wonderful sauce....Our cheese souffle is staying due to popular demand!!   MAIN COURSES include Roast chicken with Spanish spices on  chorizo, prawn & mussel paella..  A Stuffed baked aubergine topped with melting provolone cheese......DESSERTS include Raspberry creme brulee with A Spanish almond cake & amaretto ice cream - it makes a wonderful trio........ to view the full menus "click" on the menu tab at the top of the page.

We are open for Brunch & lunch :

11 - 3pm Mon - Thur  &  10 - 4pm Fri & Sat.

Current Lunchtime dishes include Pork & chorizo burger with Cajun mayo, homemade chips & beer battered onion rings or roast squash & sweet potato salad with cous cous - haloumi - sweet chilli & raita. We also serve a great All Day Breakfast from 11 am weekdays & from 10am on Friday & Saturday`s.

The other daytime menu is our Seasonal Set Lunch £11.50 for two courses, choose from 3 starters, 3 mains , 3 Desserts
